Those who live love life. Even when dealt the worst conditions and the torment of being, the endurance, as such, is a testament to existence and a praise to the ability to feel anything at all. That is what life is. Else all there is is non-existence, and nothing to endure, and nothing to enjoy, and none such to actualize either feeling. It is good to exist. We all want to exist, deep inside, even at the worst of times.

Human lives are fraught with various stresses, problems, obstacles and dilemmas. They show up all the time, and keep us on our toes. We persevere and overcome them, usually for the betterment of our being.

Most of the time, the severity of such things is on a personal level, and a single person can work hard and surmount whatever is at hand.

Sometimes, however, we are dealt a problem much, much grander than any one of us can handle. Sometimes, it is up to a whole society to come together to resolve a struggle of larger-than-life proportions.

I foresee such a problem coming up soon. Granted, no one needs to read my diary or listen to what I say or even to believe what I believe. But I must write it down anyway. It is imperative that I write it down for my own sanity, because it is larger than life, and veritably unbelievable at face value.

Iran has been in the limelight in recent months, and the popular press/media has coughed out the political double-speak on the issue with fervor. Media inherently resents mundaneness and inaction because they lose money. So when talk of war, terrorism, religious zealotry, massively-destructive weapons, "nuclear" anything, and a plethora of other such headliners are available, the popular press/media can be found swarming around the news piece, engorging on it, digesting it, mixing it with their own juices, and defacating it into the eyes and ears of an eagerly bored and ever-hungry public.

I am of Iranian ancestry. I know that the current government of Iran has all of the attributes that are the succulent morsels driving the United States media with fervor and grandiosity. They feed the need for fear-mongering. They provide the angst of further war. They scintillate the senses of prophesying, nihilistic, apocalyptic, Armageddon-desiring devotees. They line the pockets of media moguls. They bloat the pockets of developers of weapons. They overflow the pockets of the traders of petroleum.

I know all this. The Iranian government is filled with a bunch of morons. Morons who are disliked by their own people, but who, nonetheless, provide a relatively stable, but very uncomfortable, life for their people. They are morons. They are religious zealots. They are antithetical to many things logical and desirable to a happy and healthy civilization.
And just as much as the current US government leaders are a bunch of ideologues, so are the Iranian government leaders. Ideologues. All of them.

They are NOT looking for a death-wish, however. And they have a point to make. The point they are trying to make is this: they have a good memory. The Americans and the British may hate it, but Iranian memory is fresh, and good. About 200 years worth of memories. They remember being undermined. They remember being cajoled. They remember past attempts to control their government. They remember past attempts to throw their government into disarray and chaos. Many other nations succumbed to these tactics. Some became "crown-jewels" of certain monarchies. Other nations became territories of other nations. Many a nation became the "factory" that produces our i-pods, our potato chips and our 99-cent underwear.

The current Iranian government remembers these things. It chooses to be, *heaven forbid* SELF-RELIANT. So when it comes to replacing oil as its sole source of domestic energy by switching to nuclear power-plants, we point out how dangerous they are (to themselves and their local enemies, mind you, not necessarily to the United States directly), and proclaim their desire to want to manufacture the scariest boogey-man weapon of them all, the nuclear bomb.

Why produce the nuclear fuel themselves? Because they have the resources, the capacity, and the desire. Furthmore, they REMEMBER that the Western nations, Russia, China, India, or whomever else is the only provider of their nuclear fuel, they can withhold it from Iran, keeping their nation crippled and without energy, for various gains. So, instead of agreeing to hand over the regins of their well-being to the outside, Iran chooses to determine their own destiny.

I honestly do not believe that Iran has the alterior motive of producing nuclear weapons. I truly believe they are foreseeing the global drop in oil availability and looking out for themselves with nuclear power.

It has been the goal of the British and the other corporate fascists of this world to dominate it completely within several hundred years. Since the defeat of Napoleon, Britain's rise to industrialization, America's dominance over global capital, and the agglomeration of the secret societies that have spearheaded the strategies of global control, we have been witness to exactly this scenario. There are hold-outs where they have not yet gotten what they wanted.
Iran is one of those hold-outs and they will stop at nothing to bringing them over to the choke hold they have developed pretty much everywhere else. They do it fallaciously in the name of "democracy", "liberty" and "justice".
While I cherish these ideals, I definitely do NOT believe that these beliefs are their reasoning. The history of our own American government is riddled with examples of our duplicity on such matters. We believe we are so righteous in our attempts that we conclude that the end justifies the means. And OH how wrong that philosophy is. How hypocritical.
Worse yet, the trend in the audacity of some of the things the latest species of government officials is willing to say and do makes me think they have done away with that whole attempt to cover up the duplicity. These guys are boldly going to make global changes without even trying to cover up their tracks that what they are doing is sinister.

The drumbeat against Iran is in advance of an upcoming attack. Just as a drumbeat preceded the attack on Iraq, the current one is heralding the attack on Iran. Persia. The once-dominating empire of the region. Remember, Iran has not attacked anyone. They have not made any actual moves that would be deemed militarily hostile against anyone. Sure, they talk smack about Israel, but since when has a moronic group of zealots not talked smack about a group of people they have vilified for ages? To bring about all this animosity, all that the morons in the Iranian government have done is refused to talk under the conditions set by the West. In all fairness, the West has done exactly the same thing. We have refused to talk to them under the conditions they have set. And instead of negotiating on terms to talk it all out like civilized human beings, the trigger-happy governments have chosen to go to war. Again. If it is not the US and not the British, then it is their buddies the Israelis.

And it is not a matter of avoiding war. Avoiding war has never been the goal. War is a profit-making venture. They profit. None of them or their families go to war or die. Only the poor or middle-class among them become soldiers. Only the poor and middle-class die. The rest are all part of the same herd feeding from the same trough. They are the rich who own the media company, owned by the weapons-manufacturing company, owned by the giant bank. All the same guys. All the same people. All the same members of the societies wishing to control the rest of us. It is speculation on my part: but there are things that I see, hear and read that I assimilate with my own outside knowledge, and together they make for dire predictions, albeit only in speculation. If it were to be true, the rose-colored spectacles I have worked so hard to fashion for my own sanity are about to be ripped from my mug and ground to pulp. I like my world. I don't want it to change.

Five recent events came together to begin my worries.

The first may seem relatively benign to those who are not aware of the indubitably potent event about to take place.
The United States is undergoing a transition of power as a new president is about to be elected in November. Vying for the position (aside from the ignorable fringe groups) are a Democrat with charisma and elegance, and a Republican with wholesome ideals and sapartan gravity. As an aside, it must be mentioned that both of these individuals, aside from the blatherskite they publicly pronounce as their idealism in order to get campaign money and to get into the coveted office, belong to the same mindset of money-politics and corporate expansionist fascism. Look them up in the CFR membership list, among other organizations that they both belong to, and the charters and pronouncements from these organizations and you will see what I mean. But all that was just as an aside. The very corporeal event of such a change in leadership is an enormous upheaval in itself, especially considering the amount of money and power on the line (almost inestimable to meager pawns like myself), and also considering it spells the death of an idealistic program that began in 1991 and restarted in 2000 (in full speed today) by the regime in at the helm now. This one event has caused the world to hold its breath in anticipation. It is of titanic proportions.

The second, third, and fourth event happened more recently, and they all have to do with Israel:

Shaul Mofaz (ironically an Iranian-born Jew) is the former Defense Minister and the current Deputy Prime Minister of Israel. In an announcement, he declared that if the US does not stop Iran's further development of nuclear power, an attack by Israel on Iran would be UNAVOIDABLE. Here is the article in the New York Times:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/20/washington/20iran.html

Then Benjamin "Benny" Morris, an Israeli history professor, wrote an article in the New York Times declaring that an Israeli NUCLEAR STRIKE against Iran would be on the table if Israel were to consider attacking Iran because of their Nuclear power ambitions. Here is the article:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/18/opinion/18morris.html

Finally, the coincidence of Israeli Air Force tactical war games over Mediterranian Greek air space, together with the resignation of the beleaguered but relatively peace-nik Israeli Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, and the resurrection of hawkishly militant former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as his potential successor, signals the new strategy of Israel's willingness to attack Iran, with or without US help.

It seems like insanity, but we must consider that if we put these last three observations together, Israel is preponderously willing to attack Iran WITH A NUCLEAR weapon, with the "presumed" goal of PREVENTING Iran from HAVING NUCLEAR weapons!

My kin live there. They have NOTHING TO DO WITH NUCLEAR ANYTHING! The people of Iran are far, far, FAR from being the true government of Iran. Literally 70 MILLION PEOPLE DEAD! Not to mention the retaliation of whomever is left, and the reciprocity from everyone else in the world! Are these strategists in Israel and the West crazy?! Do they want the enmity of the world, as though they did not have heaping spoonfuls of it already, that they consider USING NUKES?! Even the talk of such things is deplorable, but to actually use it as a threat?

*Breathe*...*Relax*...

The last of my five observations came from a few different "news" sources. First I heard the fringe radio talk show host Alex Jones interviewing the former US Presidential candidate and current Us Congressman Ron Paul, regarding an interview given by Seymour Hersh. Then I heard Keith Olbermann of MSNBC discussing the same interview. Finally, I went and found the interview that Seymour Hersh gave, and sadly shook my head at what adds another straw to the ever-back-breaking load of reports that the chicanery of the US government has reached a new epic proportion.

Keith Olbermann I can simply say was regurgitating his own line of propaganda to boost himself and his ratings. Here is the link to that talk:

Alex Jones is just crazy fringe to begin with, but in analyzing the topic, he was doing justice in asking the right questions of the Congressman, to do a righteous service to the American Citizenry among his listeners. More worrisome was the response from the Congressman. The ultimate allusion was that only the conscientious, among those in the legislature of the US, stand between the preservation of the original morals of the American Democratic Republic, and the runaway hostile depravity of the regime that has power in the executive branch (and a majority of the legislative and judicial also). Basically, the Congressman said that when the few, proud Congress-persons remaining hear about some crazy scheme being cooked up by their colleagues or by the nut-jobs running the executive, they must pronounce the possibility of the scheme on the floor of the Congress in order to diffuse it or disempower its possibility of being put into action. Otherwise, he says, the perpetrators may actually go through with the scheme. Albeit, the only example being discussed at that moment was the one put forth by Seymour Hersh in a completely different interview, it is not unheard of that our government would stoop to underhanded and sinister methodologies to get what they want in the end.
Here is the link to that interview (do a search for "Alex Jones Ron Paul 8/4/2008" if the link does not work because the interview was "removed" several times as I was doing my search):

The Seymour Hersh interview was conducted during the "Campus Progress Journalism Conference" at the very end of July 2008. In it, Hersh discusses a story that he could not publish for lack of verifiable source citations, but which he claims is the truth because it came from his "insider" resources who were there to personally vouch for its veracity.
The idea is as such: Dick Cheney and the officials in his office had brainstormed about how to "provoke" a war with Iran. One idea was to build (in America) PT-boats (Patrol-Torpedo Boats) that looked like Iranian PT Boats, put them in the Persian Gulf, fill them with American Navy soldiers, and to have them start a small naval battle with a bigger American Navy Ship, thus starting the desired war with Iran. The idea was rejected because there would be Americans killing Americans, and we could not really have that possibility come to be. Other than American military guys dying at the hand of other American military guys, nothing in its deceitful and horrendously vicious and hostile essence of being was objectionable in that idea to those people. OUR VICE PRESIDENT. The guys sitting in our White House, controlling one of the most powerful and deadly militaries in the history of human kind (George W Bush being only an afterthought since he is of the same mindset), are FAKING THE START OF A WAR. Without a second thought!

Here is the video of the Hersh interview:

As I mentioned before, this is not the first time such chicanery has been pondered. There is a very large number of such duplicitous actions in military history, especially those conducted by other nations, but the US is not necessarily free from such possibilities. You must look these up yourselves, but there are ample citations and even some US government declassified documents to corroborate some of such schemes. Some of the more famous of these were Operation Northwoods (against Cuba), Operation Ajax (against Iran), April Glaspie's affair in the 1991 Persian Gulf War (against Iraq), the Gulf of Tonkin incidents (against Vietnam) and the Hanneken strategem (against Haiti). Of course there are others, but please take my word for it, our government is not above such strategies as to fake evidence to get involved in wars that are to their ideological interest. After all, the ones who die are mostly foreigners, and our own poor and middle-class.

So here is my prediction, may it NEVER come true:

Leading up to the US presidential election in November 2008, there will be more and more escalation of rhetoric demonizing Iran.

If John McCain wins:

The Israelis and the Bush administration will hand over power to McCain (AKA changing the puppet but keeping all the puppeteers). An attack on Iran, by the United States will be waged or staged in the next year that follows McCain's taking office.

If Barak Obama wins, either:

1) the Israelis will attack conventionally or use nuclear weapons against Iran's nuclear facilities. There will be retaliation by Iran (or Iranian-backed groups such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and al-Quds militia) against Israel, provoking the US military to invade Iran with the subtext of defending their allies. Depending on the severity of the reaction from Iran or any of the nearby countries, this may be a true nuclear war of many fronts.

or

2) the US will stage the false-flag operation that purports a hostile action by the "Iranians", wherein the US will begin the assault on Iran, and the subsequent invasion. Again, Iran will retaliate to the best of its capability, attacking Israel, and US interests in Afghanistan, Iraq and other Persian Gulf nations. Again, the Iranian-backed groups of the Middle East will begin their havoc-making machines in nearby countries provoking a much larger war on many fronts.

I really really hope I am wrong. I do not wish for my family in Iran to be harmed in any way. I do not wish anyone, anywhere to be harmed in any way. Whether it is the Ideologues in Iran or the Ideologues in Britain, US, Holland, or wherever else, we must distrust the ideology that rushes us into action, ideology that urges violence, ideology that shrugs off the sanity and civility of human dialogue, and ideology that has the sinister underpinnings of fascism and global domination.
