In physics there is a principle that says the simplest explanation to a problem is usually the correct one. I have chosen to apply this principle to the daily affairs of human beings. In creating society and defining our hierarchical structures of politics, religion, judiciary, etc., we have gone through an unimaginable number of complexities and loopholes, and fundamental mistakes that feed back into the system in terms of red tape, negative productivity, and animosities among belief systems. Logically it would follow that if these obstacles were eliminated, there would be progress toward perfecting global society.

However, when we look at the larger reasons behind the need for the existence of hierarchical structures and complexities in such things as politics and religion, there is an awe-inspiring derivation to be made. The simplicity in the truth behind the larger scope of reasons is blatantly apparent every time. In fact, they might be called "universal truths", which the mind of (wo)man has exacerbated to a point where the tangible essence of the truth is lost in a quagmire of despondent inefficacy. Kind of like that last sentence. Rephrased, the last sentence means man has buried the obviousness of truth in the mad complexity of his reasoning.

By universality I mean the things that are obvious. For example, basic human rights. One of them is that everyone has a right to live. One concurrent complexity of that is the death penalty. Other humans deiciding that the life of one human should be taken from him/her on the grounds of their dangerousness to other human beings. Another complexity would be mass executions on the grounds that a "race" of humans is inferior to another and that their non-existence would be better than their existence, as has happened historically in North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, and more specifically recently, Rwanda and Kosovo.

The truths go beyond simple human measures. They involve our place in nature, our purpose, our surroundings, our planet, and our ability to reason. We have muddled all of these issues in formalities of thought, losing sight (and here in this point I am not actualy saying whether that is intentional or a side effect) of the simple answer which lies in the grander scope of the issue.

Some of us would say that this is related to "The Fall", and that this complexity is a result of the "Seven Deadly Sins" resulting from the eating of the fruit of knowledge by our prophetic ancestors. To this understanding, my reply would be that: for the apple having been eaten and the knowledge gained, then the only change that has occurred is in our minds, and that we never actually "fell" from "heaven". And to return to our prophecy, we must simply open our minds to the universal truths, (in a way, gain enlightnement) and find the truest path, the simplest answer. The universe within may have changed, but the simplicity of the truth without reamins the same. All we (as individuals) need to do is open our eyes and see it.

It must also be considered that the final result of this consciousness would go far beyond "perfection of society" as I simplified above. (I wrote that because I was thinking of it as an ideal to aim for, whereas right now, we are accelerating in the opposite direction from it). Measured by means of standards used in our world now, the state of true understanding by all would mean a very boring place and very boring human beings. But in terms of the truth behind our purpose, with simplicity in that aim, we would be racing at exponential speeds toward perfection. Kind of like "achieving our destiny", or "touching God". Better yet, "becoming God" as one. Better even yet, "releasing God" from our minds. So to make that leap from the "exciting", "chaotic", and "brutal" world and life that we know to one of which we would herein consider mundane, it must be an active decision without reagard for a change of heart. That is because we would be choosing to open our eyes to the simple. The truth. And it is like they say, the truth will set you free.
