Matters of death and pain and woe,
Dreams of makers, none to know,
Life of black and gray and sorrow,
Life for what, wherefore the morrow?
Happenstance, a grisly tale,
Patricide, and fate we fail,
Pathetic songs of foolish knaves,
Fathers', Mothers', Siblings' graves,
Don your faith as an armoured shield,
Wave your wand, the god you wield,
Stew your heaven to taste your needs,
No need to garnish the earthly deeds,
Waste of time and waste of breath,
None but you shall taste of death,
Condemn the soul before its birth,
Go live the tale, its stolid worth,
A reaper brings forever gaze,
To help you see the wasted days,
Days of sun and cloud and rain,
Days spent festering in sinful pain,
Potential pride and potential mirth,
Potentials, death doth maketh dearth,
Books and men impress your sin,
Foster not yourself within,
Open minds open heaven's gates,
And none but death within awaits,
Value the only time you hold,
Heed not all that you are told,
For when the judgement day arrives,
Each of us will lose our lives,
But tis not another world we reap,
But just that final eternal sleep.
