The more you know the more you realize how little you know. Everyday I go about learning new things, filling my mind up with information that seems useful, but in reality all that it does is make me question the true usefulness of anything that I know. In an age when minutes mean dollars and cents, and competition among people forces efficiency of time and effort from individuals, contemplations of true knowledge and the true value of true information (if such a thing exists) is almost never given priority, and when most of us think we are contemplating truely important knowledge which we may possess, it is really in vain because we do not possess that which is needed to contemplate what true knowledge really is. I believe that every one of us, simply by existing, has the meaning of life within them. Unfortunately, we do not have the tools necessary to access or even know how to access this resource. Furthermore, somehow at times we inadvertently stumble upon this part of ourselves, and although we acknowledge its truth and the necessity to follow it up and the importance of continuing to seek it for the benefit of ourselves, we never do because it goes against the inherent beings we have become by social influences that we have been subject to since birth. This aversion is not discriminative among ethnicities or genders or ages (save for maybe newborns who are not yet fully self-aware). It requires a bit of intestinal fortitude to follow this line of thiking (and I am the ever-present hypocrite in everything I write) and to throw to the wayside the social requirements to give in to what this true knowledge is. And in the end, this form of (dare I say) salvation is never attained because as the world "progresses", we lose more and more of the sacred ancient knowledge that were the tools of accessing our path to the truth.

"All propaganda must be so popular and on such an intellectual level, that even the most stupid of those toward whom it is directed will understand it... Through clever and constant application of propaganda, people can be made to see paradise as hell, and also the other way around, to consider the most wretched sort of life as paradise."
