When we choose to create and to imagine and to construct, whose desire are we fulfilling? It is a somewhat abstract thought, but it is just something I pondered at for a little while just a short time ago. Whose idea was it that we, as human beings, be creative and to make things from nothing, and to give form to things we can imagine? If it were up to the universe, this objective would be counter to the rules, opposing the laws of entropy. We would be undoing what the universe aims to do, that is to say, maximize chaotic energies. If a god is part of this universe, are we undoing the work of this god? Are we working against this god's law of existence? Are we trying to create a microcosm, where we protect ourselves from this rule of chaos, of entropy and the forces that would naturally undo our existence?

Or maybe we are in an invisible but epic battle to fulfill the destiny of this god? Those of us with the inherent drive to be creative, constructive and productively imaginative fighting those among us who feel the call of the god of this universe to remove these obstacles to chaos, and to let the forces of nature that call for the maximization of entropy to come about and make this god happy. Is there a dichotomy within us, urging us to decide between the divine call of the physics of the universe to come to fruition as opposed to the emergent clarion call for self-preservation and the creation of the protective bubble, keeping the outside out and the inside in? Who among us represents the evil side of the universe, by trying to undo the chaotic god? Who among us dares to imagine, to create and to be protected? Who among us does not fear death, and welcomes the everlasting expansion of the tendrils of our beings? Who among us hears god? Who is listening to the universe?
