It is amazing how having a truly inviting goal, no matter how inordinate its aims, gets your mind off of the disconsolate ravages of life on one's soul. The paradigm shift is uncontrollably instinctive. It appears as though it were part of the primordial brain, shifting into a mode of survival. Emotions arise that had been dormant in the reptilian subcortices, fighting to achieve the new aim, as though to fail would be to lose life itself. If used properly, it could be the next new miracle drug.
